Ernest A. Barrueta, Principal

Ernest A. Barrueta has over thirty-four years of real estate experience in investment brokerage and financing with a specialty in the sale of office buildings, apartment complexes, shopping centers and development properties. In addition, Mr. Barrueta advises clients in the structuring of tax-deferred exchanges. In recent years, he has been involved in the sale of over $200,000,000 worth of commercial real estate and the leasing and sale of over 500,000 square feet of office space. Prior to starting Barrueta & Associates in 2002, Mr. Barrueta had been the top producer at Peter Elliot LLC and had been honored as “Broker of the Year” for five of his last nine years at Peter Elliot LLC.

Prior to joining Peter Elliot LLC in 1985, Mr. Barrueta was president of Barrueta Realty in El Paso, Texas. While at Barrueta Realty, he was involved in the leasing and sale of commercial property, while supervising two real estate offices employing over 80 licensed brokers.

Clients represented by Mr. Barrueta include local and national tenants such as Fleet Bank of Massachusetts, Avid Technology, N&P Associates, LLC and Health New England.
